Hope Centre (S) organised it's 7th Annual Bursary Awards on 24 October 2009 at The Grassroots Club. This year, however, in view of the economic crisis, a total of 329 bursaries and book vouchers to students from the low-income families.

We were honoured to have Mrs Josephine Teo, MP of Bishan-Toa Payoh GRC, to grace and present 150 Bursary Awards to the primary students.

Other than the Bursary Awards, there were also Parent-Child Communications Talk, Financial Literacy Talk and Family-friendly booths presented and set-up during the event.

We would like to thank all donors and supporters for helping us to achieve our goal of benefiting more than 300 students in 2009!
