Around 35 volunteers from Hope Church (S) organised a Christmas Party on 19 December 2009.

Despite the terrible downpour, the volunteers showed selfless spirit in fetching the elderly and physically-challenged families from the home to the party venue.

The families had a great afternoon of games, fun and laughter where they also received a food hamper each after a nice feast.

"We got into the lives of those one room flat residents" - Melvin, one of the volunteers.
